Manufacturing Engineering Intern We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our Farris team! This Manufacturing Engineering (ME) intern program will partner with experienced Manufacturing Engineering (ME) professionals to ensure learning, mentorship, contributions to the business and exposure to multiple departments within Curtiss Wright's Farris Engineering division occur. This internship will have a focus on completion of time studies, in additional to CAD drawing updates. Our goal is to provide a flexible learning environment to help kick-start a future ME's career and provide resources to meet our workforce requirements. Location: Brecksville, OH Salary: $20.00 per hour Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in Ohio. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer. Your Challenge: Develop and update CAD drawings for fixtures and plant layout Conduct detailed time studies for various manufacturing processes Contribute to various Continuous Improvement (CI) events Basic CNC Programming (dependent upon skillset) Support ME's with various ongoing projects relating to routine analyses, design and/or assembly Support estimates of manufacturing costs and making recommendations for tooling & process requirements Maintain records & reporting systems for coordination of Manufacturing operations. What You Bring: Currently enrolled in a BA/BS Degree program in Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial (Manufacturing), Electrical, Engineering Technology and/or Chemical.
