Overview Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2307) – Target Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $18.50 USD per hour Responsibilities Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve guest concerns Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and best practices Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy Demonstrate how to use features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate, and use these features Handle returns per policy, escalate to leadership as needed, following Target policies and procedures Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests Uphold safety, ethics, and compliance in daily duties Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up orders, and related duties with compliance with laws (including age-related laws where applicable) Perform other duties based on business needs What We Are Looking For You enjoy interacting with guests and helping others, including team members You thrive in a fast-paced, active role with teamwork, flexibility, and problem-solving skills You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times) Qualifications & Skills Effective communication and a welcoming, helpful attitude towards guests and team members Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks Ability to educate guests about products and services and engage around offerings Ability to use handheld scanners and operate technology as directed Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks within timeframes Additional Information Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office responsibilities as needed Ability to scan, move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable and punctual attendance Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift Comfort with varying temperatures and environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.) Find benefits information at Target will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with local fair chance ordinances.
