Leading a talented team in the Engineering and Design department, the full-time Design Manager will oversee technical detailing of mass timber projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards while collaborating cross-functionally to streamline project workflows. Key responsibilities Direct and manage a high-performing design team, assigning workloads and driving internal training Oversee the technical execution of mass timber detailing and ensure compliance with design standards Develop and enforce quality control measures and implement advanced technologies to enhance project delivery Required qualifications 2-year Associate Degree in Computer Aided Drafting or equivalent 5+ years of experience in mass timber building and manufacturing drafting Proficient in 3D and 2D CadWork production software Experience with BIM software such as Revit, Rhino, or Navisworks Strong understanding of building construction and mass timber manufacturing
