Job Description

DS Fab & Machine Works Inc. in Washougal, WA is looking for an  Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our shop. This role is the hub between our customers, vendors, and shop floor — keeping jobs organized, materials sourced, and the office running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

• Enter jobs into the system as they come into the shop
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) using QuickBooks Online
• Assist in sourcing materials needed for jobs
• Create and maintain a weekly spreadsheet with updated job information
• Close out completed jobs and ensure records are accurate and up to date
• Answer phones and direct calls/inquiries appropriately
• Provide general administrative and front office support as needed
• Perform other duties as required, including operating a forklift and driving as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 1–2 years of relevant office/administrative experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online , including AP/AR
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced shop environment
• Good communication skills, both on the phone and in person
• Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
• Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to be trained/certified)

What We Offer: 

• Part-time schedule: Flexible days and hours no Fridays. 
• Can grow into a full-time position

Salary: 

• $25 - $38 per hour based on experience
