Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience License: Valid compact or state nursing license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Previous telemetry experience - Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips - Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills Description: Candidates with only 1 year of experience may be considered, but their profiles will need to be reviewed. Schedule includes every other weekend. Must comply with strict credentialing deadlines. All candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as they sign the contract. Travelers who are unresponsive or uncooperative with credentialing may face delays or cancelations. Candidates currently outside the state who are within driving distance will be required to travel to a fingerprinting location as soon as possible. Travelers far from the location will receive a fingerprinting packet by mail, which must be completed urgently upon receipt. References must include two professional references, with at least one from a manager or someone in a formal leadership capacity. No coworker references are accepted. Former employees are eligible for travel assignments after being away for six months. Current employees are ineligible for traveler positions. Education must be from an accredited program. Experience in acute care must be current and consistent within the last 12 months.
