Job Title

Travel RN – Pulmonary Stepdown (PCU/IMC)

Location

Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Pulmonary Stepdown unit with a 1:3–4 patient ratio
Perform and assist with tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes
Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips and stable ventilated patients
Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation
Float to other med/surg and progressive care units as needed
Fulfill weekend shift requirements, including 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts per 6-week period

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Demonstrated experience working with tracheostomy patients
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced stepdown environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Previous experience with Cerner EMR
Background in progressive care or pulmonary stepdown settings
Demonstrated flexibility and high level of clinical competence
