About This Role

Summer Camp is a temporary, seasonal position with limited duration, typically spanning the summer months. On-site activities include regular field trips to various destinations, and themed days where teachers are expected to create engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences for their assigned groups. Teachers must be adaptable, attentive, and safety-conscious, ensuring a fun and secure environment for all children under their care. Their primary objective is to lead and facilitate activities aligned with the pre-determined theme, while also catering to the diverse needs and preferences of the children.

• Compliance with state and local regulations governing early childhood education
• Effective lesson planning to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Oversight and supervision of children and teacher assistants
• Nurturing positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Clear, effective communication with families and children
• Conflict resolution and addressing parental concerns in a professional, empathetic manner

• Must have a teaching license or be ECE Group Lead Qualified
• Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field of study with minimum of 30 credits in ECE
• Must be able to pass all 4 background checks (FBI,CBI,Trails,Out of State)
• Must have at least 2-years' experience
• Must be able to physically perform tasks requiring bending, squatting, lifting up to 20lbs, and kneeling
• Have in-depth knowledge of licensing rules and regulations

• Proficiency in CPR and First Aid
• Bilingual capabilities

• This is a Temporary Position for Summer only; benefits are not offered.
