This role focuses on maintaining security policies, strengthening vendor risk management, supporting CMMC Level 2 compliance, and helping build a data governance program.What You’ll DoLead security governance and risk management effortsMaintain and improve vendor risk managementSupport CMMC compliance and auditsHelp design and implement a data governance programManage security policies, standards, and updatesPartner with IT, legal, and business teams to embed security into daily workDeliver security training and promote awarenessWhat You Bring5 to 7 years of experience in GRC, cybersecurity, or complianceExperience with CMMC, NIST 800-171, or similar frameworksStrong understanding of risk management and security controlsExperience building or managing security policiesAbility to work across teams and influence stakeholdersNice to HaveExperience in construction or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with controlled unclassified informationCertifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISAExperience with vendor risk or data governance toolsWhat Success Looks LikeStrong, adopted security policiesImproved data governance practicesOngoing CMMC complianceReduced risk across the organizationKokosing is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action federal and state contractor.
