Job Description What You’ll Do:
• Assess gum health, check for signs of periodontal disease, and provide early intervention when needed.
• Take and review digital X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Guide patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques for optimal at-home care.
• Provide tailored recommendations for oral care products, such as electric toothbrushes, mouthwashes, and interdental cleaners.
• Discuss the impact of nutrition and lifestyle habits (such as smoking, grinding, and sugar intake) on oral health.
• Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff to create a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere, ensuring patients feel comfortable and valued.
• Accurately document patient histories, exam findings, and treatment progress in digital records.
•Work closely with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's needs.
• Track and schedule follow-up visits to ensure patients receive continuous care.
part-time $50 - $60 per hour
Salary based on Experience.
Shift & Schedule Work Hours:
• 3 days a week
What We’re Looking For:
• Dental Hygienist License (valid in the state of practice)
• 1-2 years of experience preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with Eaglesoft dental software
• Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients on dental health
• Detail-oriented and committed to providing high-quality care
