Summary
Thrive Therapy is looking for a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. The candidate must be able to work on-site and complete supervisor and clinical service hours as needed. This position is on a per-diem basis to start and will turn into a full-time, salaried position based on the program growth.
Major Job Duties
Assess clients and develop comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
Providing individual, caregiver and group therapy sessions.
Provide supervision to assigned Mental Health Workers (MHW).
Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals.
Maintain accurate and detailed client records.
Participate in continuing education and professional development.
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology or related field.
Licensed to practice within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
At least five (2) years of experience providing mental health treatment.
A background check in accordance with state and federal regulations; State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance.
NPI Query and current driver’s license.
Participation in and completion of all CBH mandatory in-services.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency and the ability to provide telehealth
