About the Role
CHE Behavioral is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in Staten Island, New York. As a LMHC, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral health services to our patients and their families. Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family therapy to patients and their families
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatment planning for mental health issues
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans
Participate in team meetings and present patient progress to ensure comprehensive care
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
Stay current with industry developments and best practices in mental health care
Requirements
Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field
New York State licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
