Job Description

Are you a licensed Hearing Aid Specialist who enjoys helping people hear better, communicate more confidently, and improve their quality of life? Do you want to combine exceptional patient care with the opportunity to lead and grow an established local hearing-care practice?

Hear Again America of Orange Park, operated by Oasis Hearing Care of Orange Park LLC, is seeking a self-motivated, patient-focused Hearing Aid Specialist / Provider to serve as one of two clinical professionals in our busy, established Orange Park clinic. Base salary + commission up to 6 figures annually.

Recently acquired and positioned for growth, our practice has a strong foundation in the community. This is an opportunity to take the clinic to the next level by delivering an outstanding patient experience, strengthening local referral relationships, expanding community awareness, and supporting sustainable practice growth.

What You’ll Do
As our Hearing Aid Specialist / Provider, you will deliver comprehensive hearing care while helping oversee the daily clinical and operational flow of the practice. You will be a trusted advisor to patients and families, a leader for the front-office team, and a visible representative of the clinic in the Orange Park and greater Clay County community

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and recommend hearing solutions based on each patient’s needs, lifestyle, goals, and budget.
  • Fit, program, verify, adjust, troubleshoot, clean, repair, and maintain hearing aids, accessories, and assistive listening devices.
  • Use best-practice fitting protocols, including real-ear measurements and functional gain testing.
  • Educate patients and families on hearing loss, hearing-aid use, maintenance, follow-up care, and realistic expectations.
  • Build lasting patient relationships through thoughtful counseling, responsive follow-up, and excellent service.
  • Oversee daily clinic operations, including clinical scheduling, equipment, supplies, inventory, and patient flow.
  • Provide day-to-day direction and support to the Patient Care Coordinator.
  • Drive ethical, consultative sales conversations that prioritize patient needs and long-term outcomes.
  • Track clinical and sales performance, including patient volume, conversion rates, hearing-aid sales, and revenue goals.
  • Build relationships with local physicians, ENT practices, assisted-living communities, and community organizations.
  • Participate in health fairs, hearing screenings, educational presentations, and other local outreach activities.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with Florida requirements, HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Active, unrestricted Florida Hearing Aid Specialist license.
  • Two or more years of experience dispensing, fitting, and servicing hearing aids in a patient-care setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated success building patient trust and guiding ethical, consultative hearing-aid recommendations.
  • Strong working knowledge of current hearing-aid technology, programming software, audiometric equipment, and verification practices.
  • A self-directed, organized professional who is comfortable working independently in a busy small-clinic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, counseling, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • A commitment to clinical quality, integrity, accountability, and exceptional patient service.
  • Ability to participate in local outreach and occasional community events.

Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (BC-HIS), experience supervising clinic staff, familiarity with third-party payor networks, and experience developing referrals or community partnerships are preferred.

$45,000 - $60,000 base plus commission; opportunity six figures as we are a busy clinic.
