Farm Attendant

Seasonal Hourly – Estimated pay range $17.25/hr to $20.13/hr depending on qualifications and experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

The Farm Attendant cares for the animals and ensures compliance was health and sanitation regulations at the Stew Leonard’s Little Animal Farm.

Your day-to-day:

• Ensure animal corrals are clean of feces

• Ensures animals are fed and have water

• Maintain required logs and records for farm maintenance and animal care

• Report any potential illness to veterinarian or store manager

• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations

• Assist in other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Entry level position

• No prior experience required, but a passion for animals a plus

• Great customer service

• Good oral communication

Working Conditions:

• Position requires prolonged exposure to outdoor heat and frequent pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting of 50 pounds.
