Leidos’ Defense Systems, Threat Modeling & Simulation Portfolio, is seeking a talented Engineering Intern for modeling & simulation applications with the ability to potentially work multiple projects within the Threat Modeling & Simulation Portfolio. This internship has the flexibility to be part-time (12 hours minimum) or full-time, depending on school schedule. You will join a diverse team of junior-to-senior software developers, engineers, and scientists to help create unique solutions for complex problems. Our team solves important problems that make a difference and support our customers in the current and future defense of our nation; primarily in the areas of modeling & simulation, data analysis, and algorithm development for electro-optical infrared (EO/IR) systems, radar systems, directed energy weapons, and command and control systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional academic performance and enthusiasm toward developing a broad technical capability to support overlapping engineering/scientific/developer disciplines with a particular focus on solving problems. Candidate will be expected to productively contribute to a team environment while communicating effectively to management, technical leads, and coworkers.
