The Mixer and Dump Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks to transport materials, concrete, and equipment to and from job sites. This role supports daily construction operations by ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining equipment, and following all DOT, company, and jobsite safety requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate mixer trucks and dump trucks safely and efficiently
• Transport concrete, aggregates, select fill, and other materials to job sites
• Perform pre‐trip and post‐trip inspections and complete required documentation
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, load tickets, and haul sheets
• Communicate with dispatch, superintendents, and crew leaders regarding delivery timing and jobsite needs
• Follow all DOT regulations , company policies, and jobsite safety procedures
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as required
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
• Maintain a clean truck and ensure proper functioning of all equipment
• Support field operations with additional hauling or transport tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Valid Texas driver’s license ; CDL preferred for mixer operations
• Experience driving dump trucks, mixer trucks, or heavy haul vehicles
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to read and follow delivery tickets, jobsite directions, and supervisor instructions
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Ability to work independently and in a fast‐paced construction environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to climb in and out of trucks multiple times per day
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving

This role requires strong situational awareness, safe driving practices, communication with site personnel, and the ability to navigate construction environments. The driver plays a key part in maintaining project schedules, supporting field operations, and ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. Pay will be discussed at time of Interview. Part time and Full time available. Review at 90 days and a year. Paid time off at one year of employment.
