DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Azure Cloud Engineer to provide SETA support to SAIC’s Program, Landmark in Chantilly, VA. Landmark is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle. As a Azure Cloud Engineer, you will you will design, implement, and manage Azure cloud solutions. You will also work closely with system architects and developers to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cloud-based systems. We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in Azure cloud technologies. Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly required for all candidates.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure solutions based on project requirements.Migrate on-premises applications and systems to the Azure cloud platform.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.Automate deployment processes using infrastructure as code tools.Collaborate with security teams to implement cloud security best practices.QualificationsRequired Education and ExperienceBachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree. Active Top Secret/SCI with PolyExperience with Azure cloud services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, and Azure StorageKnowledge of networking concepts in Azure (e.g., Virtual Networks, Load Balancers)Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools for continuous integration and deploymentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsJob Field: Information TechnologyTravel: Yes, 10 % of the Time
