The Audio Engineer is a hands on technical leadership role responsible for delivering premium live and broadcast audio experiences for Apple's Worldwide Events. This role owns the operation, maintenance, and evolution of our audio systems, ensuring clarity, reliability, and aesthetic excellence across technical rehearsals, live events, and broadcasts located at Steve Jobs Theater, various Apple facilities and remote locations.
Working in close partnership with the Technical Team and cross functional internal teams, the Audio Engineer sets and maintains the highest production standards while leading audio crews and vendor partners. Success in this role requires deep technical expertise, meticulous preparation, and calm execution in executive-facing environments with zero margin for error.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,700 and $225,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
