Arbitrators, Mediators, and Conciliators Arbitrators, Mediators, and Conciliators play a professional role in resolving disputes. They prepare written opinions or decisions, apply relevant laws and precedents, conduct hearings to gather information or evidence, and determine liability. Their work requires deep legal knowledge, impartiality, and strong interpersonal skills.
