This is an in-person position. Work is not remote. Supervision – This position is not responsible for the supervision of other staff members. Date – July 2026 This position is union-eligible and is represented by ILWU Local 5. Job Description – Summary This position will plan and implement safe, developmentally appropriate activities with the responsibility of managing their group of children in collaboration with other program staff. The After School Teacher will ensure the enrichment, social development, health, and safety of children in the After School Program. This job is performed in classrooms at Friendly House, Chapman Elementary School, Wallace Park, occasional field trips off site, and the two-block walking route between Friendly House and the park.
